Our names Scott, Brock, Audra and Devra are very difficult in general for the Argentinos to pronounce in Castellano-Spanish. We modify. Even with Mary, they pronounce "Maw ree".
There are 25 in Brock's class and 35 in Audra's class. They have promocion in 2 weeks meaning that Brock and Audra just finished their 3rd and 5th grades in 3 months time due to the opposite school schedules.
Each day we pick the kids up from school we comment on the extraordinary friendliness and deep sense of caring these parents have for all. Still, cheek kisses all the time with everyone, throughout the day. Of course there has been some fantastic friendships created, which will make leaving so very difficult.
